Adobe World Headquarters
Adobe World Headquarters is a 6-acre development that brought three iconic office towers and a public park to downtown San Jose. Kier + Wright provided civil engineering and land surveying services for all phases of the project. Adobe’s offices occupy 4.5 acres of land in downtown San Jose. The first phase of the project was the West Tower, which is an 18-story high-rise office tower on Park Avenue. The second phase included the construction of two additional towers: the 16-story East Tower on Park Avenue and the 18-story Almaden Tower on Almaden Boulevard. Kier + Wright provided site development and construction staking services for all three office towers and prepared construction plans for the adjacent 1.5-acre City of San Jose McEnery Park. Scope provided to support the development includes topographic survey, ALTA survey, grading and drainage plans, utility plans, basement excavation plans, traffic control and lane closure plans, and the design of median island improvements on Almaden Boulevard. Since the completion of Adobe’s headquarters, Kier + Wright has provided additional surveying services on the property, including ALTA survey updates. Today, Kier + Wright is part of the team helping Adobe add a new tower to the downtown skyline. The 18-story North Tower, which is currently under construction, will add 700,000 square feet to Adobe’s headquarters.
