Kier + Wright Announces Senior Leadership Promotions
Join us in congratulating our newly promoted senior leadership. Offering their individual talents and their shared team commitment, they will extend K+W’s success into the future.

The newly promoted senior leadership includes two roles that are new for the firm, a Chief Marketing Officer and six Senior Associates. Those individuals are accompanied by four additional new Associates.

Chief Marketing Officer Promotion:
Marilynn Stratton
Kier + Wright is proud to announce Marilynn Stratton’s promotion to Chief Marketing Officer. Since 2019, Marilynn has pioneered a path to shape the firm’s brand and deepen client relationships. She has over two decades of extensive experience in the AEC industry and focuses her knowledge on all aspects of marketing and strategic planning. An inspiring leader and valuable mentor, Marilynn continuously develops innovative strategies to support, encourage, and grow the K+W brand, culture, and mission.
Associate Promotions:
Chuy Martinez
Kier + Wright is excited to announce Chuy Martinez as one of the firm’s newest Associates. Chuy began his career as an apprentice at K+W in 1998 and is now an invaluable member of the leadership team. He is an integral piece in the continued growth and development of the company's construction staking department. Much of Chuy’s career focused on assembling and training a dedicated and trusting team to benefit the success of his department, K+W, and its clients.
Dean Jurado, PLS
Kier + Wright promoted Dean Jurado to Associate. With over 34 years of land surveying experience, Dean is a talented asset who encourages his team to utilize the latest technology and to always be on the cutting edge of the land surveying industry. Dean is passionate about the client relationships he has cultivated. He has demonstrated his leadership and mentorship talents on numerous high-profile projects and continues to share his knowledge throughout the firm.
Jim Miller, PE
Kier + Wright’s newly appointed Associate, Jim Miller, is a valuable leader at K+W and provides expertise related to water resource planning and land development. He brings three decades of experience in all areas of infrastructure management process and upfront planning work. Jim dedicates his time and efforts to solving problems for K+W’s clients. He prides himself on the relationships he builds in this industry and is committed to mentoring the next generation.
Mike Ebenal, PE
With 11+ years of experience, newly promoted Associate, Mike Ebenal, has worked on a diverse portfolio of projects, including commercial and residential site development, roadway and infrastructure, and public agency projects. Since joining Kier + Wright, Mike has grown into a successful mentor who prides himself on elevating his entire team while continuing to grow and flourish relationships with K+W’s clients.
Senior Associate Promotions:
The Senior Associate designation was created to recognize their outstanding achievements and dedication to the firm. They earned this distinction by managing larger and more complex projects and generating significant revenue for the firm.
