Nearly 140 clients, industry partners and K+W team members gathered at Coyote Valley Sporting Clays in Morgan Hill on September 11 for Kier + Wright’s annual Client Appreciation Clay Shoot Classic. Conversations moved beyond current projects as longtime partners caught up, new introductions took shape and teams prepared to test their skills on the course.
Experienced shooters and first-time participants encouraged (and heckled) each other from station to station, bringing plenty of energy and a healthy competitive spirit to every round. Once the shooting wrapped up, Golden Ticket donut shots, raffle prizes and a live auction for a San Francisco 49ers game-day experience kept the momentum going.
Behind every raffle ticket and auction bid was a chance to help the ACE Mentor Program introduce high school students to careers in architecture, construction and engineering. Through mentorship and hands-on learning alongside industry professionals, students get a firsthand look at the built environment and discover where their interests could take them.
Thank you to everyone who attended, donated prizes, purchased tickets and participated in the live auction. Your generosity transformed a great day with clients and colleagues into new possibilities for students considering careers in the AEC industry.
