Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, Downtown San Jose (DTSJ) is experiencing a renaissance resulting from a collaborative, strategic urban revitalization effort between the City, community stakeholders, some of the nation’s leading developers, and world-renown designers, engineers + contractors. Their mission – creating a dynamic employment center, while addressing the growing housing crisis, minimizing each developments’ carbon footprint, and supporting the wellness of the inhabitants through sustainable and integrated design. Curating a downtown destination connected with nature and filled with the arts.

With 17 projects comprising of 26 towers, K+W has been instrumental in achieving these goals. Creative solutions and design standards for the entire DTSJ revitalization efforts were based on K+W’s in-depth understanding of the area’s unique challenges. K+W + our collaborators are literally changing the skyline of Downtown San Jose by creating a sustainable and resilient community attractive to developers, companies, employees + tourists.
