Loft House Apartments

Kier + Wright provided civil engineering, land surveying and construction staking services for Loft House Apartments, a mixed-use, transit-oriented development located in the City of Sunnyvale’s Downtown Specific Plan area. The site includes one six-story residential building with ground-level retail and one four-story residential building with below-grade parking structures. In total, the community includes 133 residential apartment units and approximately 7,000 square feet of retail space.

To support an accelerated project schedule, Kier + Wright provided entitlement design and coordination services on a quick turnaround, obtaining planning approvals in just three months.

Kier + Wright concurrently provided civil design services for the adjacent Solstice project and for off-site improvement projects surrounding the two developments, including a full redesign of Olson Way. Kier + Wright coordinated with multiple architects, owners and public agencies to deliver on-site and off-site improvements that benefited this growing community.

Specific services provided to support the planning and construction of Loft House Apartments include utility design and analysis, topographic survey, mapping, engineered site plan design, design of grading and drainage plans, off-site improvement design and construction staking.
