Peet’s Coffee Roasting Plant

Peet’s Coffee & Tea Inc.’s Alameda coffee roasting plant was the first United States coffee roasting facility to achieve LEED certification and was the first project in Alameda to achieve LEED Gold.

The 145,000-square-foot plant is located on 12 acres of bayfront land in the Harbor Bay Business Park.

Kier + Wright services provided during the project include subdivision mapping, design of biofiltration swales, grading design, utility design, design of off-site improvements on Harbor Bay Parkway, design of a 1-mile gas main extension, ALTA surveying, topographic and boundary surveying, and construction staking.
